Dog problem

There is this dog that isn't right behind us but next to the house
that's behind us and it starts to bark at 7:00 every morning and
doesn't stop until 9:00. I kid you not it does this ritual every
morning and it is really starting to irrate me. Lance says he is
going to buy a pellut gun and shoot at it, but he probably wont.
Any suggestions? I would love to hear. Am I being dumb ?

My moms boss and our really good friends

Mike, Spencer, and Denise Haynes went to

Snow Canyon to ride segways for Spencers

Birthday. It was a blast. I have always wanted

to ride one but never had the opporunity.

You could say I was a little uncordinated

when I first got on one but I got better at it.

If any of you watch arrested development

I felt like Gob riding around,of course he

is way better than me.

Lance couldn't come because he took the

young men from our ward to the BYU game.

He really missed out, but he had a good time too.

We barbaqued hamburgers and hotdogs and

had homemde rootbeer. Snow Canyon was

beautiful, I don't know if you can tell from

the pictures but the leaves were golden orange.

The weather was perfect. We brought the boy's

bikes so they could ride around, they had tons of fun

following us on the segways. Chip and I went for a

ride on the bike path, everything was going great until

he decided to be funny and get really close to me

to try to scare me. He ended up getting to close and a are

tires rubbed together and we crashed. I only got

some skin taken off my ankle but Chip

got a little worse, but we both survived. Don't worry

I forgive you little brother.

Just for Fun

I saw this on a blog and I thought it would be fun to do so here goes.

1. Whats his name? Lance Lambert but I have numerous nick names for him
hun, babe, lover, all of the above.

Dont let her kid you she calls me other names that she cant post on
here sometimes, particularly after softball trounement weekends.

2. Who eats more ? I like to say him but it really depends on what we eat.

This category would all depend on which of us is trying to lose weight at the time.

3. Who said I love you first? Of coarse he fell for me first, but I fell soon after.

I have to dispute this one for sure. I distinctly remember being in the truck with her after a fireside, her first time in my truck I would add, when she said, and I quote, "I can totally see myself falling for you" Nuff Said.

4. Who is taller? He is . My check list had 6'3 so I checked that off first:)

Yes, I am tall.

5. Who is smarter? He is . Also on the check list, he will help the kid with homework.

She would not have made it through college without me.

6. Who is more sensitive? I am by far.

7. Who does the laundry? That would be me . He will fold the clothes if I beg

8. Who sleeps on the right side? laying down he does.

9. Who pays the bills ? He took that over about 3 years ago, he pays it all online.

Yea, remember college, math was her worst subject.

10. Who cooks more? That would be me. He rarely cooks ever.

11. What meals do you cook together? It doesn't happen unless I want
him to barbaque something.

12. Who is more stubborn? I would have to say me.

13. Who is the first to admit they are wrong? It depends on what it is . Lance
doesn't think he is wrong very much. If I know I was wrong I usually admit it.

14. Who has more siblings? I do by one.

15. Who wears the pants? We really are equals. If it is a big decision we
consult each other.



16. What do you like to do together? Watch movies, go on drives ,go to the
parde of homes , watch our boys play sports. Lots of stuff.



17. Who eats more sweets? We both have a sweet tooth , but I'd say Lance eats
more in one sitting.

18. Guilty pleasures? Lance's would be reeces pieces and softball. Mine
would be cookie dough shakes, and a good book.

19. How did you meet? When Lance came home off his mission all his
friends were back in Las Vegas. So he started to hang out with his
sister Krista's friends whichI happened to be. The funniest thing is that
when I was a Senior I saw his missionarypicture on his parents wall and I
thought he was the hottest thing I had ever seen. I didn't think he would
like me, but I was wrong:)

20. Who asked out who first? He asked me out . I told him I was
finally done likingthis other kid and he said k lets go out tomorrow.
We have been together ever since.

21. Who kissed who first? He kissed me first , he couldn't resist!!!

22. Who proposed? Again he did, But I knew the day he was going to ask me.

23. His best features? His legs and his broad sholders. I always look
at them when he walks past me.

24. His greatest quality? He never talks about people, and if I do he
gets mad at me.He is a great gospel doctrine teacher, he loves to learn
about the gospel, and he bears his testimony all the time. It takes a lot to
get me up there. When he decides to do something he does it. For
example he decided he wasnt going to raise his voice at the kids anymore
and he doesn't !! I wish I could do that I still yell.

Family night

We went to Staheli Farm for family

night on monday with all the Lamberts

it was tons of fun. The weather was less

than desirable but that didn't stop the

little boys from exploring the animals

and all the fun to do at the farm. Ava

was very good even with the chilly wind.

When every one went through the corn maze

Ava and I decided we would sit in the

car with grandpa and wait for the others

to get back. It was a wise choice. Lance said

the maze was great. They changed it from

corn to a thicker grass that you couldn't see

through, so you had to follow the map to

get out you couldn't walk through the corn

if you decided to go on a different route.

Maybe we were the only ones that did that

in the past. Anyhow Lance said it was a

great improvement. Thanks Hayley for

coordinating our family night.

Fun at Powell

We were able to go to powell again at the end of august

and I'm just getting these pics up. We had tons of fun.

Graydon and Hunter loved this ski training ski.It was pretty easy

for them to get up on. It gave them some major self confidance

when it came to getting up on the wake board.

The boat puts Ava to sleep every time

My brother Troy kept asking me why I was
sreaming. I told him I'm my mothers daughter.

I can't help it ,I scream the whole time when I'm on

the tube or on a roller coaster orwatching a scary movie.

Lance's little bro chad came home off his mission from
Spain on Thursday Oct 2nd. We picked him up from the
airport at 10:20 pm. My kids all fell asleep and I couldn't
get them to wake up so they stayed home while Lance
and I went to the airport. I couldn't find my camera that
night so I borrowed my moms and the pics were all fuzzy.
So sorry there aren't any pictures of Lances cute brother
Chad. We are so glad he is home I thought those 2yrs went
by fast. The boys are excitded to have Chad home too.

Saturday was the St. George marathon. We had our own
heros running in the wind and rain that day. Chad's sweetheart
Eryn ran it for the second time, and my wonderful cousin
Heidi ran it for her 1st time. I wanted to show them
off because I think it is an awesome goal to acheive.
I have always wanted to run it and the give me
inspiration to start training for next year.
Congrats girls your amazing!!!

Mighty Hunter

My Mom drew out a Elk tag on Indian Peeks

with a black powder gun. My father was so excited.

Jesse Ship was the guide for my mom. My brother Colby

and my dad were there to help scout for the elk. She hiked

all over the mountain and shot and killed her elk all by

herself. Mom I am so proud of you!!!

1st crash

Ava got her first road rash on her face. Hunter took

this picture and I was really glad because I wanted to post

this picture before she healed. I forgot to take a picture

and a was mad at myself, then I was looking at the pics

on my camera and I found this one. Thank heavens for

little boys. Back to the story. We were at Lake Powell

for are annual EmployEase trip, and we were cleaning the

house boat. I had Graydon hold Ava on the sofa while I vacumed

he got distracted and she fell off and got this carpet burn.

I got asked what happened to her everywhere I went.

I felt like a bad parent telling people I let her fall off the

couch, but she is fine now and her battle wound is gone.

Flag football

Good Friends

Yesterday was the begining of flag football season
Hunter and Dillon are on the same team. Go Giants!!!

It is quite entertaining to watch these little boys play football.

Half the time they couldn't pull the flags off because

they are on so tight, so they would end up tackling

the person with the ball. Dillon was not that excited

to play football, but he had fun today. I told him how fast he

ran and that got him really excited to play. Hunter

of course is always excited to play,he loves to be apart of

something no matter what it is. He also loves wearing his

new jersey. I felt like I was going to my class reunion I couldn't

believe how many people from my school were there with their kids

it was crazy. Graydon had a game also but I didn't

get any pictures because Ava had a HUGE blowout. Which she

hasn't had for months. It was every where all over her

stroller her skirt and toys. I layed her on the grass

to change her and she sceamed, because she didn't like

the feeling of grass on her naked bumb and head. It

of course took me a long time to change her so

I could feel the stares on me. It was not the funnest

game -plus Graydon's team is all 7 yr old going on 8

and the other team was 8 going on 9 and some were 9

already. They killed Graydons team. Lance coaches Graydons

team, and if you know Lance at all you can imagine

how happy he was after the game. I was impressed

at how he handled himself during the game though. You

wouldn't have known he was upset. I love you sweet heart.

Over all we had a good time.
